Our herb and tincture buyer is movin’ on. Kim has officially resigned and is now the Vice President of sales for “Inhalation Products” - those wonderful pocket size inhalers that no one should leave home without. We all wish you the best of luck and thank you for your hard work.
Rainbow Remedies would like to welcome our new herb and tincture buyer, Caroline, it’s great to have you here!

One of the wonderful perks about this commercially active season are all the random sweets that appear before us, tempting our salivating tongues. Whether it is the pumpkin pie, the chocolate, or the insanely delicious egg-nog chai. Yum is the word.
The other word is toilet. As good as these things taste, they can at times do a number on our digestive system and that can be un-fun, to say the least. Something to consider here is what type of environment is being created within our gut. Sweet things are nourishing, and an overabundance of that can be debilitating. What is missing are other flavors which play the important role of distribution. Imagine donating months worth of food to a homeless shelter. Sure they have the food, but if there is nobody there to organize and coordinate distribution, all is for naught, eh?
For those of us who enjoy having desserts for meals and find those super sweet winter drinks too good to resist here are a few dietary adjustments one can make to help the system handle our impulsive ways:
- Green Tea- Bitter and Cold in nature, green tea is practically the sheer opposite of a good chocolate bar. You can practically feel your body getting lighter as you drink it.
- Quit ‘yer Bellyachin’!!! Stomach Tea- Acrid ingredients such as peppermint, orange peel, and anise seed move all that gunked up sweet around and through the system. While cold, soothing ingredients like chamomile and lemon balm work to calm your sufferin’ stomach.
These are just a couple suggestions…what are some things you like to do?

At last! The long awaited Malie organic roll on perfumes have arrived from the tropical island of Kauai, Hawaii! Just in time for our winter months of darkness and rain, to bring that sunny spirit that we crave. We are carrying both of the aromas, “Beautify”-a sensuous blend of Jasmine and Rose and “Relax”-a good enough to eat combo of vanilla and coconut. A great gift for someone really special in your life or a treat for yourself!!
